About Me
I’m Helenca, the creator and writer behind Little Geniuses Club and I’m so happy that you’re here!
Beyond the website, I’m a mom to 2 rambunctious little learners, ages 3 and 8.
I have a background in psychology and work full time in finance. But at heart I have a passion for Early Childhood Education.
In terms of human development, the importance of early childhood education can’t be overstated.
A child’s early years are the foundation for his or her future development, providing a strong base for lifelong learning and learning abilities, including cognitive and social development.
Well-established research continues to emphasize the importance of early childhood education as an essential building block of a child’s future success.
I firmly believe that learning is done best through play, exploration, and creativity, and when looking for printables that I could use for my own kids saw that there was not much available for South African use. This is when I decided to start designing my own.
Through extensive research of proven learning approached I have designed and would love to share exciting educational printables with you.
My Mission = Empowered educators
From school teachers and tutors to home schoolers and parents, engaged adults are the key to unlocking each child's potential and drive to learn. We empower all kinds of educators to teach kids by providing the best educational resources in any form or device to be used at home, at school, and everywhere in-between.
About the Site
My goal for this website is to share creative early learning ideas, activities and resources with other parents and teachers of young children. One of my passions is creating unique printable activities for toddlers and pre-schoolers, which I am happy to share with you. My kids love these activities and learn a lot from them!
